We at Dovetail Joinery & Fire Doors are specialists in fire door installations and maintenance, safety comes first when fire doors are involved, under UK regulations, it’s a legal requirement to install and maintain compliant fire doors in commercial and residential buildings.

We have achieved the following accreditations for your peace of mind ‘UK Fire Door Training Approved Installer’ & ‘FireQual Certificate’. Every installation is accompanied by a ‘Record Of Installation Certificate’ attesting to the fact that it was done by a competent person, as that term is defined in Article 18 of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

We have extensive experience in supplying and installing fire doors of all sizes, from standard sizes to bespoke design doors. We service the entire South-West and beyond. After a fire risk assessment has been completed, problems with fire doors are common. We will be able to establish whether the door(s) that have been reported as failing may be upgraded to meet the recommended fire resistance or replaced with a new fully compliant door(s) as a result of the fire risk assessment. We specialise in fire doors with ratings ranging from FD30 to FD60, including FD30(s) & FD60(s). Fire doors are used as part of a passive fire prevention system to keep fire and smoke from spreading between different compartments of a commercial or residential building.
